Avocado Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey)
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt
- Optional: 1 tbsp unsweetened almond milk for thinner texture
Instructions:
- Place avocados, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla, and sea salt into a blender or food processor.
- Blend until completely smooth, scraping down walls as needed. Add almond milk a splash at a time if desired.
- Transfer mousse to serving dishes. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
- Serve with fresh berries, a drizzle of dark chocolate shavings, or a sprinkle of nuts.
